The NCB's online and outreach manager, Dr Michelle Staff, has reviewed the ABC series Tony Armstrong's Extra-Ordinary Things and the accompanying exhibition at the National Museum of Australia for Inside Story. The project, she explains, uses objects to reveal people's lives and experiences, which together weave a story about the nation and its past.
